Board Chair
Leacadia Powell-Hunter is a transformative leader with over 25 years of experience in sales and IT, having held key roles at five Fortune 25 companies. Known for driving global strategy and innovation, she has led high-performing teams and expanded operations across international markets. A “Women Making History” honoree, she blends corporate excellence with community impact and cultural enrichment.
Sonja Enfinger
Program Manager
Sonja Enfinger is a retired physical therapist, board leader, and passionate advocate for health and community service. She serves as Vice President of The Enfinger Companies and represents global wellness brand Partner.Co. Chosen in the 2025 Queens Court as Ms. Senior Huntsville & The People's Choice Award Winner of Ms. Senior Alabama. Her platform promotes women's health, leadership, and civic engagement.
Helen Fischle, DSW, MSW
Board Member
Dr. Helen R. Fischle is an Assistant Professor and BSW Program Coordinator at Alabama A&M University with over 24 years in social work education. She leads student-centered initiatives and community partnerships to improve social services across North Alabama. Originally from England, she holds degrees from Oakwood University and the University of Alabama.
Anita Mitchel
Treasurer
Anita is a compassionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist with over 20 years of helping children and adults find their voice and restore their quality of life. She has served in schools, hospitals, and rehab centers across the Southeast, bringing skill, heart, and healing to every setting. Deeply dedicated to serving others, Anita is known for her warmth, advocacy, and ability to connect with those she cares for.
Barbara Powell-Love

Barbara Powell-Love is the Office Manager at Pain 2 Wellness Healthcare and founder of Beebe Loves Beauty, a blog that inspires women over 50 to embrace their inner beauty. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration and brings a rich background in salon management, business consulting, and healthcare operations. Barbara is also a contributing writer for Brainz Magazine, covering topics on leadership, lifestyle, and personal growth.
Jessica Hall
Board Member
Jessica W. Hall is a former P&G Vice President with 30 years of leadership in brand development, strategy, innovation, and organizational development. Most recently she was the Co-founder and Chairperson for Simpactful, a boutique consulting firm where she advised Fortune 500 companies and startups. She is a champion of DEI and women's leadership and has also served as an advisor in these areas. Based in Charlotte, NC, she and her husband are co-founders and co-leaders of The Legacy Empowerment Center. She is also the founder of The Roundtable, a faith-based community for women.
Julie Grissom

Julie Grissom is a Home Care Relations Specialist with over 22 years in medical and senior healthcare sales. She excels in building partnerships and negotiating contracts to improve access to care, serving organizations including the Veterans Administration and Poarch Band of Creek Indians, a local tribe. Passionate about seniors, Julie actively leads efforts to raise awareness of resources that meet the needs of North Alabama’s aging community.

She is a champion for health equity, literacy, and access—developing impactful programs that serve underserved communities. With a creative spirit and a heart for mentorship, she brings vision, compassion, and cultural insight to everything she does.
Helen Powell-Stoddart, MD,MS
Executive Director
Dr. Helen Powell-Stoddart is a board-certified physician, powerful speaker, and incredible author. Dually trained in Internal Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with over 30 years of experience, she is the founder of Pain 2 Wellness Healthcare and creator of the Reverse It! program. Through her virtual practice and national wellness initiatives, she empowers others to reverse type 2 diabetes and reclaim their health with lifestyle and integrative .
